Helping Students Find Their First Homes
For many, college selection represents the first time a young adult chooses a place and space to call "home." As any parent or student who has been through the process knows, the layers to the decision and costs associated with each and every step are many - often overwhelming. This initiative was founded in the spirit of giving back to the community that gives so much to me, personally & professionally, in a simple and meaningful way to help lighten the load for Ridgefield students & their families. No lengthy essays, merit requirements or intrusive personal questions - just what your student loves about our hometown, in 250 words or less.
Part of what drew me to Ridgefield were many shared qualities with Colgate University, my own alma mater – beauty, warmth, personal connection, and downright “good” people. I could not be more thankful to have found my forever home in this exceptional community and am pledging my commitment to help our students find theirs in higher education and beyond.
